lcdproc-extra-drivers software package provides extra drivers for the LCD display driver daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lcdproc-extra-drivers
lcdproc-extra-drivers is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lcdproc-extra-drivers package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lcdproc-extra-drivers *
You will get with lcdproc-extra-drivers package name, version, architecture and description in a table
